Kicker's Introduction

We are proud to offer this program for the 4-7 year old boys and girls out there that haven’t had much experience playing the greatest team sport in the world, SOCCER !!

This mini-season is meant to introduce players and parents to the game in a way that is fun, less competitive but at the same time educational.

TEAMS 

Coed: 4 year olds, 5 year olds and 6 year olds.

FIELDS

Weaver Fields located at the corner of Forge and Spruce Streets in Palmyra. 

Fields will be approx. 20 yds X 30 yds.

UNIFORMS

Each child will receive a “CPYSC Kickers” tee shirt, theirs to keep.

THE SEASON

Typically Monday nights have been for the 5 yr olds, Tuesday nights for the 4 yr olds and Wednesday nights for the 6 yr olds, however, nights may vary depending upon the number of players in each age group.  Our season begins in September for the fall and in April for the spring. Start time will be 6:00 PM.

COACHES

Parents/guardians will be asked to help out.  CPYSC will provide instruction prior to the season and will be available throughout for help.

Rules of the Game

1) Have Fun.

2) Learn some skills.

3) Teams will have 3 - 4 players on the field.

4) There may be an arch around each goal where no one can go in to take a shot if needed for the older players.  (similar to 3V3 tournaments at higher levels) and for safety reasons)

5) Smaller sized goals and balls to allow the children to be able to play the game better.

6) No scores or records will be kept.

 What Should I expect from this program?

As with CPYSC’s Travel program this league strives to have kids meet new friends have fun, laugh, and most importantly get kids and parents active together.
